My favorite creation for those "extra" smelly places (like your teenage son's room)....

Cuban Pumpkin Sachets!!

Take one jar of Cuban night aroma beads and one jar of Pumpkin Caramel aroma beads.
Dump them into a bowl and mix together (I like to do it with my hands and feel the beads run over my fingers, very relaxing).
Fill small (3in x 4in) organza bags with the mix.  I used gold bags as they went with the color theme. 
From the mix of two jars I was able to fill seven of the small (3in x 4in) bags.

Now, just place them in those extra smelly places and enjoy.  

The combination of the musky Cuban nights scent with the sweet Pumpkin makes it great for any room, and even my son likes it so no more boy sweat smell when I open his bedroom door!!

So to celebrate and give you something new to try with your Vanilla Pudding an easy recipe from Do You Bake?

Carrot Eat Em Up Cake in a Jar

Our Carrot Eat Em Upcakes have come all dressed up to party this fall! Enjoy a fall individual sized cake in a jar.  YUMM.  Individual sized cake servings, perfect filling and YUMMY cake.  Looking for a fall Grab and Go sweet treat? Use mason jars with lids for a portable Upcake Dessert!  All dressed up, these Carrot Eat Em Upcake in a jars are also are pretty giftable treats.
  • Prep Time : 25 minutes
  • Cook Time : 18 minutes
  • Yield : 8 to 10 desserts

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Carrot Eat Em Upcake batter  per box directions.
  2. Heat oven to 350 degrees F
  3. Coat two 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pans (or jelly roll pans) with a little butter. Line the bottom of pans with wax paper and coat the wax paper lightly with butter.
  4. Divide Carrot Eat Em Upcake batter evenly between prepared pans and spread level with a spatula
  5. Bake at 350 degrees for approximately 16 - 18 minutes, or until dry to the touch. The cake will slightly pull away from the edges of the pans and will spring back when touched.
  6. Cool For 10 minutes and then invert onto wire racks and remove wax paper.
  7. Prepare Carrot Eat Em Upcake Maple Icing, per box directions
  8. Cut 16 - 20 rounds of cake with a 2 1/2 inch  round cookie cutter. Cut an additional 8 rounds with a 2 3/4 inch cookie cutter. Place one 2 1/2 inch round cake into the bottom of a jar, compressing with fingers to fit. Spread a light layer of maple frosting on top, then vanilla pudding and sprinkle a few chopped walnuts. Repeat layering with a second 21/2-inch cake layer, 2 tbsp of the vanilla pudding and 2 tsp of the nuts. Top with one 23/4-inch cake layer. Repeat process in other jars with remaining cake rounds, remaining Maple frosting and nuts.
  9. Top each jar with 2 Tablespoons of whipping cream (whipped) and sprinkle a few nuts to garnish
Enjoy! YUMMY Gourmet Option : Beat 4 to 6 ounces of cream cheese with your Maple Frosting (prepared per directions) to enjoy a maple cream filling! Layer as directed above.

Do You Bake - National Hummus Day - Fancy Toast Recipe

Today is National Hummus Day, so in honor of that I am presenting you with an easy recipe that, although doesn't presently contain hummus, you could easily add hummus as one of your topping options.

Toast is quickly becoming the latest artisanal food craze? Instead of spending those big bucks out at your local bakery, use our quick and easy recipe ideas to enjoy a slice of gourmet style toast from home.
  • Prep Time : 8 minutes
  • Cook Time : 4 minutes
  • Yield : 1 - 2 slices per serving

  1. Using Any Bread you have on hand, cut into thin slices (Try the Do You Bake? EZ country Loaf or Family High Five Grain Bread!)
  2. Toast in the oven or in your toaster on Medium Brown Setting
  3. Choose your favorite topping and spread!
Topping ideas :
  1. Mix 1 - 2 teaspoons of Do You Bake? Sinfully Cinnamon Sweet Spice Blend with 1/4 cup of cottage cheese. Top your toast with your mixture and sprinkle additional spice on top
  2. Warm 2 - 3 Tablespoons of leftover Do You Bake? Spinach and Artichoke Dip in the microwave and top your slice of toast! Add a little extra grated Mozzarella Cheese (optional) and broil for 1 - 2 minutes until bubbly
  3. Top your Toast with 2 - 3 tablespoons leftover Do You Bake? Love that Lemon Pie Cheese Ball and toss a few freshly cut raspberries on top
