Do You Bake - National Homemade Cookies Day - October 1st

NATIONAL HOMEMADE COOKIES DAY

National Homemade Cookies Day is celebrated annually on October 1. If you are looking for an excuse to bake some homemade cookies, eat some homemade cookies, take homemade cookies to work or to the neighbors, look no further.

Can you smell them now?  It may be chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, monster cookies, sugar cookies or any one of the many homemade cookies baking in the oven that gives the home the wonderful aroma that makes your mouth water.

Many of us have wonderful memories of coming home to warm homemade cookies waiting for us with a glass of cold milk or going over to Grandma’s house to a plate of fresh homemade cookies on the kitchen counter.  Those are wonderful memories that bring smiles to our faces.
