Do You Bake - National Homemade Cookies Day - October 1st

National Homemade Cookies Day is celebrated annually on October 1. If you are looking for an excuse to bake some homemade cookies, eat some homemade cookies, take homemade cookies to work or to the neighbors, look no further.
Can you smell them now?  It may be chocolate chip, peanut butter, oatmeal raisin, monster cookies, sugar cookies or any one of the many homemade cookies baking in the oven that gives the home the wonderful aroma that makes your mouth water.
Many of us have wonderful memories of coming home to warm homemade cookies waiting for us with a glass of cold milk or going over to Grandma’s house to a plate of fresh homemade cookies on the kitchen counter.  Those are wonderful memories that bring smiles to our faces.

Let Do You Bake? help with some of our favorite mixes to get your started!
*Choc 'N Roll Cookies
*Classic Pumpkin Spice Cookies
*Dunk the Chunks Cookies
*Gingersnap Cookies
*Old Fashioned Oatmeal Raisin Cookies
*Sugar Cookies

Start with the mix, add some chips or nuts of your own favorites and you have easy-peasy homemade cookies! Hey, you mixed them and baked them, that's homemade to me!!
